Under the Legal, Financial and Human Capital Sub-Directorate, economic management of projects financed with European Union funds in the 2021-2027 Operational Programme (ESF+, FEMPA, ERDF and LIFE) and with NEXT GENERATION EU funds

  • Support in the preparation and management of documentation, information requirements and communication associated with projects involving various areas, especially projects of the National Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, projects co-financed by structural funds
    of which the FB is an intermediate management body and
    LIFE projects in which the foundation participates.
  • Preparation and preparation of reports, notes prior to management meetings, reports of results and reports relating to economic matters and especially those that must be sent to the Board of Trustees.
  • Follow-up, control and management of the information managed and provided to the Legal, Financial and Human Capital Sub-Directorate.
  • Follow-up and review of project contracting, supporting the areas in the incidents that arise, management of invoices and their processing in the IT tool according to FB procedures.
  • Prepare any economic document of the projects that are necessary for their economic, financial and budgetary management according to FB procedures.
  • Review the settlement reports of the subsidies/grants of the
    calls for projects.
  • Advise and support project teams in any economic task they may need (hiring, justifications, documentation stamping, data recording, report review, etc.)
  • Review documentation for signature of the Deputy Director and Management.
  • To help and provide training to the Areas to process contracting and other processes of the Procedures and Contracting Manual.
  • Support in the economic and budgetary part of hiring as Financial Support Technicians.
  • Write and update the manuals and action guides of the different
    established procedures related to economic management and that bring the procedures closer to practical management in computer tools or ERP.
  • Support in project requirements and audits.
  • Support in requests for documentation and information from IGAE, the Court of Auditors and other institutions in audits.
  • Relationship with suppliers and service providers.
  • Collaborate with the improvement of processes and organize the economic documentation of the projects and of the Area in general, taking into account the Legal Standards and those of the FB.
  • Participate in the process of design, coordination, knowledge transfer, development and implementation of the new ERP software tool.
  • Management and control of the external documentation archive of all FB.
  • Any other function entrusted by the Headquarters, Deputy Directorate and/or Directorate.
  • University degree (also formerly Diploma and Bachelor’s degree) in the branch of Social Sciences (Business Administration and Management, Economics and/or Business, Political and Administration Sciences or equivalent).
  • Experience of at least two years in accounting, economic management of projects and subsidies and/or calls for grants.
  • Experience of at least five years in accounting, economic management of projects and subsidies and
    /or calls for grants.
  • Postgraduate training in subjects related to the management of foundations and
    public funds and calls, and/or administrative law.
  • Experience of at least two years in or for the public sector.
  • Average English proficiency (B1 level or equivalent)
  • Temporary fixed-term contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union Funds (Fifth Additional Provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with professional category 1st Technician.
  • Gross Annual Salary: €30,690.77
  • Job location: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
