Head of the Ecosystem Conservation and Restoration Area (temporary)

- Coordinate the project partners and monitor the development of the actions of the LIFE Stewardship / LIFE Custody project (Environmental Governance: an innovative mission to improve biodiversity conservation through land stewardship), which is coordinated by Fundación Biodiversidad.
- To support the processing of agreements and possible collaboration addenda with partners, and to monitor their execution.
- Execute the actions of the project for which the Biodiversity Foundation is responsible, preparing and supervising the necessary contracting.
- Organize the necessary meetings for the follow-up of the project, as well as the events organized within the framework of the project. Drafting of the corresponding minutes.
- Coordinate and prepare project activity reports, in collaboration with project partners.
- Prepare the panel of project performance and impact indicators and monitor them.
- Provide support to the project manager in tasks related to that function.
- Participate in the necessary visits to the project’s areas of action by the coordinator, partners or the European Commission.
- Present the project in different forums and events, as well as in European and international events.

- Any other task entrusted to it within the scope of the project.
- Bachelor’s degree (also former Diplomatura and Licenciatura)
- At least 3 years of experience in the functions described above.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management.
- Advanced English proficiency (C1 level or equivalent).
- Willingness to travel. The availability or not to travel must be expressly indicated in the CV.
- Experience in LIFE projects.
- Training/experience in the Public Sector.
- Project management training.
- Knowledge of land stewardship.
- Temporary fixed-term contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union Funds. (Fifth additional provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with the professional category of JEFE/A.
- Gross Annual Salary: 40,654.72 €.
- Location of the position: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
- Maximum planned duration: September 30, 2028
