To promote and ensure the correct execution and technical and economic justification of the LIFE Stewardship / LIFE Custody project, as well as to promote land stewardship as a tool for nature conservation.

  • Coordinate the project partners and monitor the development of the actions of the LIFE Stewardship / LIFE Custody project (Environmental Governance: an innovative mission to improve biodiversity conservation through land stewardship), which is coordinated by Fundación Biodiversidad.
  • To support the processing of agreements and possible collaboration addenda with partners, and to monitor their execution.
  • Execute the actions of the project for which the Biodiversity Foundation is responsible, preparing and supervising the necessary contracting.
  • Organize the necessary meetings for the follow-up of the project, as well as the events organized within the framework of the project. Drafting of the corresponding minutes.
  • Coordinate and prepare project activity reports, in collaboration with project partners.
  • Prepare the panel of project performance and impact indicators and monitor them.
  • Provide support to the project manager in tasks related to that function.
  • Participate in the necessary visits to the project’s areas of action by the coordinator, partners or the European Commission.
  • Present the project in different forums and events, as well as in European and international events.
    in which it participates.
  • Support for communication and dissemination of the project.
  • Liaison with the EC and partners.
  • Any other task entrusted to it within the scope of the project.
  • Bachelor’s degree (also former Diplomatura and Licenciatura)
  • At least 3 years of experience in the functions described above.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management.
  • Advanced English proficiency (C1 level or equivalent).
  • Willingness to travel. The availability or not to travel must be expressly indicated in the CV.
  • Experience in LIFE projects.
  • Training/experience in the Public Sector.
  • Project management training.
  • Knowledge of land stewardship.
  • Temporary fixed-term contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union Funds. (Fifth additional provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with the professional category of JEFE/A.
  • Gross Annual Salary: 40,654.72 €.
  • Location of the position: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
  • Maximum planned duration: September 30, 2028
