Manage and monitor calls and projects in the Green Economy and Employment Area, within the framework of the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+)

  • Support in the monitoring and management of projects for calls for subsidies and projects of the Green Economy and Employment Area
  • Participate in the preparation of documents associated with calls for subsidies, and tenders of an economic nature.
  • To train, accompany and assist the participating entities during the presentation, execution, justification and settlement of the projects.
  • Evaluate proposals submitted to the calls for proposals.
  • Carry out the technical and economic monitoring of the execution, justification, settlement and payment of the projects.
  • Prepare and review provisional and final reports on the settlement of call projects, as well as possible reopenings.
  • Administrative and financial management of projects.
  • To verify and control the correct application of the General Law on Subsidies and the Law on Public Sector Contracts, as well as to review the eligibility of the expenses attributed to the projects managed by the Area.
  • To monitor the latest developments in terms of regulations, strategies, plans, programs and projects related to the activities of the Area.
  • To support the preparation of documents necessary for the selection, creation and monitoring of operations co-financed by the ESF+, as well as in their uploading to the computer application enabled by the Funds Administrative Unit.
  • Support in the preparation and upload of report and certification documents of the funds to the Fund Administrative Unit. To support the control and audit processes to which the activities carried out are subject, such as those carried out by the General Comptroller of the State Administration and the Court of Auditors.
  • Any other function entrusted by the Headquarters, Coordination, Deputy Directorate and the Directorate.
  • University Degree (also former Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree) in Earth Sciences (Environmental, Biology, etc.)
  • Postgraduate training in subjects related to the environment and biodiversity.
  • Experience of at least 1 year in the management of projects co-financed with ESF+.
  • Experience of at least 1 year in or for the public sector.
  • Experience of at least 1 year in the management of projects related to training, promotion of employment and entrepreneurship.
  • Upper-intermediate level of English (B2 or equivalent). It must be accredited by means of an official certificate.
  • Fixed-term temporary contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union Funds (Fifth Additional Provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with the professional category of TECHNICIAN
  • Location of the position: headquarters of the Biodiversity Foundation in Madrid.
  • Gross Annual Salary: €27,807.37
  • Maximum expected duration: 31/12/2029
