Technician (temporary) of the Bioeconomy Area

It will carry out the area’s support work, especially within the framework of the National Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, “Next Generation EU” and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

  • Support, process and follow up on the area’s contracting, budget requests and support in the preparation of reports within its scope of action.
  • Review and administer area documentation and manage, update and maintain databases.
  • Carry out the necessary administrative tasks related to the area’s activities.
  • Support in document management and control of the administrative documentation associated with the grants awarded, as well as in the control of communications and contacts established with the entities during the resolution of the calls for proposals.
  • Control of the projects and area agenda, taking care of milestone scheduling, project objectives and delivery of reports (internal and external).
  • Collaborate in the organization of events, logistically and budget-wise, as well as support in their development. Contribute to the preparation of abstracts and proceedings.
  • Provide support to the technical team in the preparation of reports and presentations.
  • Management of the area’s generic e-mail.
  • Support for the management and technical, economic and financial monitoring of the projects of the area’s calls: technical tasks, control of expenses/payments executed within the framework of each project, compilation and filing of supporting documentation, etc.
  • Support in the preparation of notes, reports and reports related to the activity and work topics of the area.
  • Support and collaboration in the process of auditing project expenditures.
  • Support in the technical evaluation of the proposals received in the calls for proposals.
  • Preparation of proposals for improvement and contribution to the better performance of project evaluation, monitoring and control tasks.
  • Any other task related to the above entrusted by the Coordination, Sub-direction and/or Direction.
  • University degree (also former bachelor’s degrees and diplomas)
  • At least 2 years of work experience in the performance of tasks similar to those described above.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, etc.) at user level.
  • Experience and training in management and economic justification of community funds.
  • Experience and/or training in the public sector and public sector contracting law.
  • Experience in administrative and technical support to projects and calls related to the promotion of the bioeconomy.
  • Intermediate level of English (B1 or equivalent)
  • Fixed-term temporary contract for the execution of projects financed with European Union Funds (Fifth Additional Provision of Royal Decree-Law 32/2021), with the professional category of TECHNICIAN
  • Gross Annual Salary: 28,642.24.
  • Job location: Fundación Biodiversidad headquarters in Madrid.
  • Expected duration: until December 2029.
