Evolve Green

Empleaverde+ program

The Evolve EM Verde project, with a duration of 12 months, is a training programme in green jobs, co-financed by the ESF+ through the Empleaverde+ Programme of the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge. Executed by Aupex at a regional level, the project is being developed in various areas of Extremadura, with the aim of contributing to the settlement of the population in the territory. Throughout this project, participants will carry out training itineraries that will enhance their professional development and training in key areas such as beekeeping and forest management, all focused on sustainability.

  • Effective training in the field of agroforestry resource mobilization, including sustainable forest management and beekeeping operations.
  • Promote the development of the green economy, through training and the realization of synergies.
  • Promote the participation and leadership of women in the agroforestry sector through training that allows the advancement of their professional careers based on the program.
  • Strengthen soft skills competencies through the training of participants in emotional intelligence, critical thinking or change management, among others.

The project contemplates the development of:

  • Training actions in the fields of beekeeping management, aromatic and medicinal plants, mycology, sustainable forest management and clearing and pruning.
  • Communities of practice: in which the development of talent is enhanced, the objective is to discover the potential of the individual and the development of key competences for the 21st century through the application of practical tools related to language.
  • Social Innovation Actions: based on a stimulating environment where innovative ideas are generated and enriching experiences are shared, with talks-colloquiums given by experts in which students participate.
  • Value ecosystem: made up of public and private entities related to the sectors in which sustainable green economy participants are trained. Its function is to provide knowledge, experience, information, synergies and potential workers.
  • Reference offices: made up of a job counsellor and an agroforestry technician. Its functions are to publicise the programme in the environment, attract beneficiaries and members of the ecosystem, and provide support, advice and information to the participants.
