To improve the capacities and aptitudes of the recipients through training in basic and applied elements of the green economy and circular economy through training in environmental issues of high business and social demand.
The project offers eleven courses, divided into four training itineraries, so that the courses can be taken separately and individually, receiving the titles corresponding to each course, and if all the courses of the same itinerary are completed, the student receives an Expert degree in that subject, issued by the General Foundation of the University of Alcalá. Each student can take as many courses as they wish.
There is also an Environmental Impact Assessment course, which is taken individually, as it is not related to the previous itineraries. This course trains the student to know the Environmental Impact Assessment procedure, necessary to evaluate the effects of plans, programs and projects on the environment, including the legislative framework, methodologies and tools, both for office work and in the field, to carry out such evaluations, as well as practical cases.
In addition, the project includes four social innovation actions, which will be carried out in the form of practical workshops, related to the creation and design of infrastructures for the improvement of biodiversity, biodiversity inventory through indications, advanced technologies for biodiversity sampling and a beekeeping workshop.
The training model is based on innovative methodologies such as the flipped classroom, where students prepare the course content at home, and in a flexible way, thanks to the online platform, and then apply their knowledge in face-to-face activities, as well as the problem-based learning methodology, which exposes and presents real cases.
