TELONAMAN 360: Navigating towards the inclusive circular economy

TELONAMAN 360 is a training project for green employment that seeks to improve the employability of unemployed people, especially people with intellectual disabilities, through practical, accessible and territorialized training in circular economy, recycling and recovery of marine waste, eco-design and sustainability. It is developed in Galicia, with special attention to rural and coastal areas such as Muros-Noia and A Coruña, as well as to areas of high environmental value linked to the Natura 2000 Network.

Promoted by MedAtlantia European Consultancy, S. Coop. Galega and Misela, Association of people with disabilities in the region of Noia e Muros, the project gives continuity to previous experiences Telo na man, Telo na man Conecta and Voga Voga. Through training actions, personalised support and communities of practice, it connects socio-labour inclusion with the just ecological transition, transforming marine litter into learning opportunities, green employment and social innovation.

General objective: to improve the employability of unemployed people, especially those with intellectual disabilities, through practical training in circular economy and recycling of marine waste, favouring their labour insertion and the ecological transition in coastal areas.

Specific objectives:

  1. Develop technical, relational and eco-social skills linked to the circular economy, eco-design and environmental recovery.
  2. Develop participatory leadership skills, ecosocial awareness and teamwork.
  3. Generate collective proposals, micro-actions or prototypes applicable in the territory.
  4. Facilitate connection with local networks, inspiring agents and replicable experiences.
  5. Promote inclusive green employment models through sustainable collective initiatives, such as special employment centres or cooperative formulas aimed at recycling waste from the sea and social and labour inclusion.

Expected results: 52 unemployed people trained in circular economy; creation of an inclusive support network based on collective intelligence; capacity building for green employment in marine recycling; generation of proposals, micro-actions / prototypes applicable in the territory; dissemination of the methodology and establishment of alliances for its transfer.
