The main objective of the project is a new recycling facility for complex residual plastics of a composition and granulometry similar to CSR (Recycled Solid Fuel). The characteristics are: 3 to 5cm, less than 1% chlorine and sulphur, density between 50 and 200 kg/m3, maximum 15% biomass, a minimum of 85% polyolefin content and a maximum of 5% PET (polyethylene terephthalate). This waste arrives at the plant from waste management companies, and they will be the ones that feed the pyrolysis process. The raw material entering the plant must be free of wires, inert material, bulky material, etc.
They intend to treat 40,000 tons of plastic waste per year, avoiding sending it to landfills or incinerators, with the goal of reaching the commercialization of 30,000 tons of pyrolytic oil in the first year of production, as well as obtaining 90% of high-quality pyrolytic oil that meets the standards for its commercialization.
Advanced recycling plant for non-recyclable waste plastics for the production of pyrolytic oil as a circular raw material for the chemical industry
