Forest restoration is the most effective tool to address the climate emergency and biodiversity loss. To be successful today, reforestation requires maximizing biodiversity, functioning, and ecosystem services. BioFoRest proposes a large-scale spatial and temporal analysis of the forests of the network of mature stands of the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha. Its objective is to develop a manual of reforestation practices.
