PRTR Call for Proposals Project
The project implements an improvement of the plastic film recycling line (LDPE) from the Ecocentral of Granada, to manufacture garbage bags for cleaning and collection services, using pellets of recycled plastics in the plant itself. With this, the company reduces its dependence on non-recycled bags purchased from third parties and avoids the use of virgin plastics, in addition to the generation of pre-consumer waste (prevention). In other words, the project can be defined as a 100% circular and sustainable economy action in the waste-plastic binomial.

€341,621.20The aim of the project is to establish an internal production line for the manufacture of plastic bags from recycled plastic film (LDPE) pellets, obtained from packaging waste treated at the plant itself. With this initiative, the company seeks to reduce its dependence on non-recycled plastic bags purchased from third parties and avoid the use of virgin plastics, promoting a more sustainable production model. In addition, the project makes it possible to close the life cycle of plastics and reduce the generation of waste (pre-consumer and post-consumer) and prevent its accumulation in landfills.
