FIBRA: Investments in equipment for the Innovative Manufacture of 100% recyclable fiber components for the mobility sector

PRTR Call for Proposals Project

The project plans to make an investment in a line consisting of a new water-assisted injection machine + 3 additive manufacturing to produce components reinforced with 100% recyclable long fibers in less time, more efficient and flexible, which would allow production to be brought from Asia to Mallabia and manufacture parts with high technical requirements. This project will improve the efficiency and sustainability of production processes, reducing the consumption of virgin raw materials (50%), waste generation (80%) and the carbon footprint associated with transport (80%).
