PRTR Call for Proposals Project
The project will consist of the implementation of a new recycling line for the processing of post-consumer and post-industrial waste to obtain high-quality pellets for the manufacture of new products. The technology to be incorporated is one of the most efficient and advanced in terms of plastic waste recycling due to characteristics such as degassing, processing of contaminated materials, high energy efficiency, self-cleaning and dynamic production adjustment, which allows better waste processing, higher quality in the pellets and lower energy consumption.

364.098 €The overall goal is to reduce the amount of post-industrial and post-consumer plastic waste that goes to landfill by acquiring advanced technology to obtain high-quality pellets. The goal is to recycle 50,000 tons of plastic per year by 2025. Currently, the percentage of recycled raw materials (pellets) used is 55%. After the implementation of the new recycling line, it can be increased by 60% (from 14,377 tonnes to 19,377 tonnes) thanks to the increase in efficiency in the recycling rate from 69% to 74%, thus reducing the amount of waste destined for landfill, from 31.2% to 25.9%.
