Improvement of existing facilities to increase their efficiency in the recovery of plastic waste that can be recycled “SELEPET”

PRTR Call for Proposals Project

The project improves a sorting line for PET plastic waste by polymer and colour, as well as its grinding to produce flakes, reducing waste generation and increasing the amount of flake destined for the production of food-grade rPET. A more efficient sorting system will be implemented to recover post-consumer PET, and a single-stage grinding for the reduction of fines to reject. The objective is to increase the recovery of materials for recycling and minimize plastic waste.
