New polyamide waste recovery line

PRTR Call for Proposals Project

This project consists of the acquisition of an extruder line for the granulation of post-industrial polyamide waste. The polyamide waste, due to its technical characteristics, requires special equipment that the company does not currently have. The new treatment line will make it possible to manage polyamide waste to obtain raw material again that can be reused by the same company that has generated the waste. In this way, the circle of the circular economy is completed.

The main objective of the project is the installation of a new polyamide waste recovery line for reuse as raw material. Currently, they are not treating this waste. The main result is the obtaining of 250 tonnes of recycled polyamide per year, with a recovery rate of 80% of the treated waste. The new treatment line incorporates the necessary technology for the recovery of this material, allowing quality pellets to be obtained that can be reincorporated into the production process that has generated the waste.
