To tackle the problem of unintentional emissions of microplastics that occur both in the production process itself and in the reception, unloading and storage of raw materials, different actions will be carried out aimed, on the one hand, at filtering microplastics at the emission points of the process and, on the other hand, at the construction of a covered building for the loading and unloading of raw material and through covered storage.

1.360.000 €The overall objective of the project is to drastically reduce the release of microplastics by filtering the gases emitted into the atmosphere and by constructing buildings to be able to carry out the loading, unloading and storage of EPS in a covered manner.
- Estimated 95% reduction in process dust emissions via hot filtration at the points of emission into the atmosphere.
- Estimated 90% reduction in emissions through a covered building for loading and unloading raw materials and through covered storage.
