The rescue centers in the countries where these animals originate are the first and main shield to fight against wildlife trafficking. Rescue centers in the countries of origin are more effective in this fight. The MONA TYC project is designed to train young people in conservation and animal welfare, as well as to train workers who are already active in these wildlife recovery centres in Spain, giving them the opportunity to train in Europe to strengthen their knowledge and skills.
