PRTR Call for Proposals Project
The project aims to implement innovative and sustainable solutions for the manufacture of pre-insulated pipes and buffer tanks with advanced materials used mainly in heating and cooling systems. Focused on the circular economy, ABN seeks to minimise the environmental impact by providing the thermal installation sector with more environmentally friendly solutions. The innovation of the technologies to be implemented will reduce the use of materials, increase the durability of products, energy sufficiency and improve their recyclability.

734.985 €The project focuses on the transformation of two production lines, the one corresponding to buffer tanks (a device used in air conditioning, heating and cooling systems to store thermal energy in the form of hot or cold water) and pre-insulated pipes.
These products will improve the current state of the art by replacing the use of raw materials with a greater environmental impact, such as steel, with technologically advanced materials that generate a lower environmental footprint and extend the useful life of the products, such as polyurethane insulation expanded by PPR CT polypropylene and recycled polyurethane foams (PUR).
