2 Technicians of the Bioeconomy Area

Within the framework of the calls for grants executed by the Fundación Biodiversidad and its own projects, to monitor and execute projects to promote the agroecological transition and the bioeconomy. Encourage the projects managed to promote an economy that benefits biodiversity and achieves transformational impact, making the best use of funds for this purpose.

  • Evaluation, monitoring and technical and economic justification of the projects that are the object of the grants awarded by the Fundación Biodiversidad.
  • Accompanying and supporting the technical team and the beneficiaries of the grants during the execution of the projects, as well as the final phase of justification.
  • Review of the eligibility and regularity of 100% of the expenditure declared by the aid beneficiaries, verifying the reality of the payments and their compliance with the applicable regional, national and Community regulations, as well as with the conditions of approval of the aid.
  • Preparation of documentation (reports, databases, presentations, graphic material),
    notifications, etc.) and attendance at meetings and events related to the evaluation, monitoring and control of the assigned grants and associated projects and activities.
  • Preparation of proposals for improvement and contribution to the better performance of project evaluation, monitoring and control tasks.
  • Organization and attendance to events related to the Area’s work topics.
  • Technical support to the Area and preparation of associated documentation (reports, databases, presentations, notes, etc.) on the specific topics of the Area’s work (good agricultural practices and agroecological transition, Mar Menor, ecological restoration, etc.).
  • Technical support in the design and preparation of new calls for grants, related to the area’s topics, as well as projects and activities of the area.
  • Monitoring of new developments in regulations, strategies, plans, programs or projects related to the subject matter of the grants and projects.
  • Any other function inherent to the management of projects executed by the Fundación Biodiversidad.
  • Higher university degree (engineering, undergraduate or former bachelor’s and diploma studies) in the field of Earth Sciences.
  • At least two years of experience in project management related to agricultural sustainability and good agricultural practices.
  • University degrees such as Agronomy/Agricultural Engineering or specializations in the field of good practices and sustainability in agriculture: master’s degree, postgraduate degree, university specialization course or equivalent.
  • At least two years of experience in technical and economic monitoring and justification of projects.
  • Specific training in topics related to good agricultural practices, agroecological transition, etc. and experience working or collaborating with entities in the agricultural sector.
  • Advanced knowledge in database management and computer tools for integrated project management.
  • Experience in the public sector.
  • Intermediate level of English. B2 or equivalent.
  • Temporary contract for the replacement of workers with the right to reserve the job with the professional category of First Technicians.
  • Job location: Madrid
  • Gross Annual Salary: 31.458,04€.
