PRTR Call for Proposals Project
The project seeks to reduce the use of plastic in sliced cheese packaging by 70% through a new packaging line. This investment, aligned with Law 7/2022, aims to reduce the generation of waste, the use of plastic raw materials. To this end, and although different technological alternatives are possible, because they meet the objectives, the new technology could reduce the weight of packaging from 180g to 55g, reduce waste by 96% and the demand for plastics by 6,000 kg per month, thus contributing to a circular economy in a significant, scalable and traceable way.
