PRTR Call for Proposals Project
The project is working to invest in a new sustainable and environmentally friendly aseptic canteen that will eliminate the plastic used in the company’s current juice storage process, as well as the plastic waste generated by not being reusable. It will also reduce CO2 emissions by eliminating the current need to transport the product to an intermediate warehouse. The new canteen will consist of a warehouse tank system, a pasteurization system and a cooling system, which will promote the efficient use of resources.

€3,009,612.01The objective of this project is to reduce the environmental impact of the production process in the final phase of storage of the products, significantly reducing the amount of plastic used and generated as waste as it is not reusable.
To this end, a canteen will be implemented for juice storage in aseptic conditions, which will eliminate the disposable plastic bags used in the current system (whose composition consists of more than 50% plastic polymers).
