PRTR Call for Proposals Project
This project focuses on improving the sustainability and circularity of the industrial manufacturing process of EV power inverter connectors, with a content between 65 and 84% plastics, through investment in an automatic injection machine and an automation system between the main injection and the marking and testing station. as well as the improvement and optimization of its processes through technologies that will reduce the consumption of virgin raw material (PPS), increase efficiency in the use of material and reduce the generation of waste and waste.

€255,362.19The general objective of the project is to improve the sustainability of the production process of inverter connectors for electric vehicles, through the implementation of technologies in the injection and testing stages, which reduce the consumption of raw materials and reduce waste generation.
Specific objectives:
– Implementation of an automatic injector in the connector production process.
– Implementation of automation systems between the injection process by overmolding and the electrical testing and DMC marking station.
– Effective reduction of both the plastic raw material used and the plastic waste generated.
